I'm happy to see you here! I really am. Let me introduce myself 😊

In the online world, I go by the name Bonnie. I've been working as a tutor of the English language for almost eight years! EIGHT YEARS, guys! Wow... time flies, for sure. I have all the required certifications to serve in that role, so I'm pretty sure that my English language-related content can be deemed credible.  

 

Why blogging?  

 

Long story short, because it's fun.  

 

During the first lockdown, I had so much free time that I decided to organize my notes, teaching materials, ideas, and lesson plans. While reviewing everything, I thought that it'd be fun to share some of my ideas with you guys! 

I started with the blogger platform, but at some point, I decided to switch to Tumblr, which I still use and which is gaining lots of popularity (YAY!). However, Tumblr is not suited for writers. Yeah... the text editor, while improved already, is still lacking.

 

So here I am, taming blogger and trying to create a clean and intuitive website. 

I don't teach Japanese, but...

As for Japanese, yeah... this is purely for fun. I've been studying Japanese since 2017. At first, I was learning it on my own, but in 2022, I decided to take formal classes. I believe my knowledge has improved since then, which, in turn, makes my Japanese content more credible. 

No matter in which language I post or about which language, I always consult my findings and conclusions with my friends, teachers, and whoever is willing to shed some new light on my data. 

 

Did you know that... 

Apart from running this blog and my Tumblr blog,

• I read a lot... like A LOT. 
• I watch anime regularly because it's fun, but also to practice my Japanese and look for interesting examples that I can use in my posts.
• I have a dog. Her name is Bunia, and she's pretty spoiled. 
• I collect Nendoroids, and I'm obsessed with them. Like, guys, OBSESSED. I'm pretty sure my Nendoroid dolls have more clothes than I have at this moment. Dressing up Hanji and Levi, though... my inner child is happier than ever. 

Sorry (not sorry), but I don't have any social media accounts (for now) 😉
